Introducing the 'Celadons' range by StudioLine- These translucent glossy glazes will create different tones of carved and textured surfaces where pooling occurs. Want to embrace the contrast... this range is for you!
These StudioLine Celadon stoneware glazes work brilliantly alongside all StudioLine glaze ranges.
The 550ml bottles of glazes are made in Stoke on Trent, in the UK and we have been to visit their factory and the people behind these exciting glaze ranges.
The glazes are best fired at Cone 6 (1220 celcius) with a 20 minute hold but are suitable to be fired between cone 4 and 9. Glazes may run when hotter but a Matt glaze on the base can create a barrier for those drips!
Glazes are tested to be food safe when fired with enough glaze, to the recommended temperatures on suitable clay bodies.
However, this should be tested by the individual for the purpose of the item created.
Basic application. Stir well. Brush, sponge, or stamp. Apply 2-3 layers depending on the desired result. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next coat.
Please email for data sheets.
Tip: Mix with the Matt range for a satin look!
