Gold Quartz Crystal Stoneware Brush on Glaze F666

 Introducing the 'Crystals' range by StudioLine-  Real Crystals are created within the glaze surface during the firing process. No two pieces are the same and that is why these glazes are so special. Not only that but glaze crystals can be achieved at a cone 6 firing with a 20 minute hold and no cooling schedule. 

These StudioLine Crystal stoneware glazes work brilliantly alongside all StudioLine glaze ranges.

The 550ml bottles of glazes are made in Stoke on Trent, in the UK and we have been to visit their factory and the people behind these exciting glaze ranges. 

The glazes are best fired at Cone 6 (1220 celcius) with a 20 minute hold but are suitable to be fired between cone 4 and 9. Glazes may run when hotter but a Matt glaze on the base can create a barrier for those drips! 

These glazes are not food safe due to the crystal formations. 

Basic application. Stir well. Brush, sponge, or stamp. Apply 2-3 layers depending on the desired result. Allow each coat to dry before applying the next coat.
